Role Description: The Office of Children, Youth, and Families (OCYF) is seeking an experienced IT Business/Data Analyst to support its transition to a new statewide Child Welfare Case Management System (CWCM).
- Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage multiple data initiatives across the OCYF project team.
- Oversee defect submissions, change requests, and data quality improvements for CWIS and Data Warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal reporting requirements, including Annual Child Protective Services Reports and NCANDS submissions.
- Support data conversion, clean-up, and system transition activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, application teams, and county agencies to align on requirements and resolve issues.
- Develop project schedules, monitor progress, and prepare status reports.
- Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, TFS, MTM, ServiceNow, and Cognos for tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Facilitate meetings, presentations, and communication strategies with stakeholders.
- Travel as necessary to support activities across regional offices and county agencies.
Required Qualifications- 7+ years of experience in business analysis, IT system support, and functional/user requirements development.
- Knowledge of data processing, analysis, and software development lifecycles, focusing on user requirements and UAT.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications- 2+ years of experience in the Child Welfare or Human Services fields.
- Certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
Technical Skills- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook).
- Experience with TFS, MTM, ServiceNow, and Cognos.
