Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY:  
Reporting to the Director, Finance, the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to the overall success of the organization by strengthening financial results and optimizing the Finance function. You will manage the budgeting and planning processes, Cash flow projections, including long- and short-term views on financial plans. You are a business partner who participates in developing strategy for the company to achieve its corporate objectives.  
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
    • Deliver financial plans and forecasts that reflect the expected financial results of the business and that achieve corporate objectives.
    • Manage analysis related to cash burn, gross margins, net realized price, EBITDA and foreign exchange exposures, and support the related business decisions.
    • Lead the organization in understanding financial trends and business issues/opportunities that will improve our overall financial performance and allow the organization to reach or exceed its financial goals.
    • Prepare monthly financial reviews to analyze the results compared to plans, forecasts and historical results to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Provide weekly sales analysis and cash flow reports
    • Develop, support and analyze business cases to highlight financial impacts to leadership and support various business initiatives.
    • Partner with business functions to reduce inherent financial risk such as Merchandising, Planning and Corporate Development.
    • Aid business functions in working from the ground-up to create KPI reports, dashboards and other tools to capture financial information, monitor performance and react accordingly.
    • Other analysis as periodically defined or requested by the Director, Finance.
REQUIREMENTS: 
      • Minimum 5 years of relevant management and/or FP&A experience 
      • CPA, CFA designation and/or MBA
      • Advanced Excel skills along with ERP experience and Power BI experience
      • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and provide meaningful insights and recommendations, based on your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
      • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with other departments within the company, particularly the ability to convey financial implications to stakeholders.
