INCOG BioPharma Services is seeking a highly motivated Senior Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities and Engineering Department. The Senior Maintenance Technician primary responsibility is to preserve the condition, calibration status, and functionality of our facility’s equipment and instruments efficiently and safely. 
 
The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical aptitude with a good eye for detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and superb troubleshooting skills. The Senior Maintenance Technician will work independently and methodically to ensure equipment is safe for operation and instruments are calibrated to appropriate ranges/industry standards. They will have in-depth knowledge of calibration methodology, a solid electrical aptitude, excellent problem-solving, exceptional communication, and organizational skills. They should demonstrate leadership skills that indicate their ability to mentor and motivate others in the organization. They will possess a demonstrated ability to influence positive outcome without direct reporting authority. The Calibration Technician is a key individual contributor role within INCOG Facilities and Engineering Department. 
 
This is a 2nd shift position, Monday - Friday from 2:00pm - 10:30pm.
 
 Essential Job Functions: 
  • Maintain and inspect all equipment throughout the facility including, but not limited to: HVAC, Water-For-Injection (WFI) system, compressed gases, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, plant steam / chilled water systems and laboratory instruments (as required). 
  • Manage the status of all preventive maintenance and calibrations via a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). 
  • Resolve issues that arise in the day-to-day running of the plant systems and processes. 
  • Schedule and complete preventative maintenance and calibration activities. Provide responses and solutions to minimize system downtime. 
  • Troubleshoot issues and perform corrective maintenance activities on a variety of instrumentation and site equipment. 
  • Partner with internal customers and equipment vendors to define calibration and preventive maintenance intervals and ranges. 
  • Document work performed for calibration and maintenance work to ensure all completed tasks are completed and accurately reflect the activities performed. 
  • Perform activities such as modifications, installations, commissioning and validation support, start-up of new equipment/instruments, and decommissioning. 
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the budget for the Calibration and Maintenance Department. 
  • Provide input on the spare parts program and help define proper min/max levels to minimize potential downtime associated to parts availability. 
  • Individuals must have the ability to work flexible hours when required to ensure production facility coverage. 
  Special Job Requirements: 
  • High school diploma with technical training or equivalent military training. 
  • 5 years of experience troubleshooting, maintaining and calibration of system instruments in an operations or manufacturing setting. 
  • Physically capable and available to work overtime and/or respond to alarms after hours, including weekends, and holidays. 
  Additional Preferences: 
  • Associate degree. 
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). 
  • Experience with cGMP manufacturing for pharmaceuticals and devices. 
  • Experience in a sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
