Associate Digital Marketing Manager

The Associate Digital Marketing Manager will provide comprehensive digital marketing support with a primary focus on digital communications. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining a strong online presence through online marketing strategies via social platforms and public relations outreach. 


  • Support the planning and execution of the social media strategy and assets with Digital Marketing Manager, including evaluation and reporting
  • Develop engaging social media content in collaboration with subject matter experts and align messaging with appropriate social media platform
  • Assist in drafting and distributing press releases, fact sheets, and other material for the media and the general public
  • Manage social media platforms and tools; measure success of social media and PR campaigns
  • Monitor social media platforms for mentions, competitive analysis and KOL identification/tracking
  • Build social content calendars across key social channels in alignment with clinical data releases, product launches, and event presence
  • Monitor social media groups, trends, tools, and applications to identify new developments and trends in social media and target audience
  • Develop multimedia tools to enhance commercial efforts
  • Execute special projects as assigned, including research and special creative projects in support of larger marketing team
  • Implementing and managing marketing campaigns and compiling reports for management showing results (ROI)
  • Other duties assigned, as necessary
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 3 years related experience in social media marketing and/or public relations, with minimum of one (1) year experience in the medical field
  • Direct experience developing engaging social media content and campaigns, press releases and/or media pitches in collaboration with subject matter experts
  • Experience with Sprout Social, Social Studio, Buffer or similar media management platforms
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, Canva or other graphic design tools, and social platforms including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Experience with HubSpot or Salesforce a plus
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, understanding of the principles of social marketing, social media platforms, new technologies – and how they can be applied to digital communications strategies
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to visually organize information into more effective pieces of marketing
  • Extremely passionate about social media with understanding of leveraging owned channels for engagement and awareness
  • Possess strong understanding of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and LinkedIn; Google Analytics and Google AdWords optional
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal direction
