The Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A reporting to the head of FP&A is a key leader of the FP&A team responsible for overseeing Corporate FP&A which is a core pillar within the team that manages systems, processes, and connects the business partner side of FP&A, Accounting and BU finance. This leader will oversee the Corporate FP&A team.

Responsibilities

  •  Partner with the head of FP&A and VP of Finance to manage the AOP and forecast processes and monthly management reporting.
  • Own the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of total company global results & forecasts in a matrix organization with growing number of entities and Business Units. 
  • Drive optimization through automation of files, creation of templates, and standardized reporting. 
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Lead and own of the financial forecasting system and data, including buildouts, enhancements, and implementation of processes and procedures to streamline data gathering and reporting in support of Corporate FP&A activities.
  • Support Investor Relations efforts by providing reporting on consolidated results and key metrics, ad-hoc financial analysis, and assisting with materials for quarterly earnings preparation.
  • Drive executive level presentation materials that equip Senior Leadership with decision driving insights and inform Leadership of variance root causes, mitigation strategies and required business decisions.
  • Stay up to date on the latest FP&A trends and efficiency opportunities through technology. 
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for various strategic initiatives and business cases.
  • Develop strong relationships with other leaders within FP&A, Accounting, and G&A functions by understanding organizational priorities and driving operational initiatives to support those priorities.
  • Lead and mentor the Corporate FP&A team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Other duties assigned, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive financial analysis experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience, with demonstrated experience in leading and developing finance teams.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects.
  • Experience with financial systems software (NetSuite and Adaptive or similar platforms).
  • Strong technical background and knowledge of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and how those statements are derived.
  • Superb attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to act as a strategic partner to the business, understanding the needs of senior leadership and providing financial insights that support Company initiatives and goals.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide insights that drive business decisions.
  • Must have a natural curiosity about the business and be comfortable questioning things that do not make sense.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build effective/positive working relationships.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team. 
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to manage deliverables across direct reports and non-direct reporting structure.

Preferred

  • Prefer individual that has Big 4 background and now holds corporate FP&A role. 
  • Experience within the med device industry or a similar industry is preferred.
  • CPA or MBA degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in accounting, finance, or related areas preferred.

Inari Medical offers competitive health and wealth benefits for our employees. The base pay range for this position is $145,000 - $170,000. A range of factors, including location, skills, and experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
