We are seeking to add a SENIOR MEDICAL DIRECTOR to our medical team.  You will be a crucial member of your respective brand teams, and provide medical strategy leadership across multiple therapeutic areas, including respiratory, rare disease, and oncology.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Establish Scientific Rigor on Brands

  • Bridge the gap between marketing and science by showing a strong understanding of pharma marketing, relevant therapeutic areas, brands, and competitive landscape 
  • Provide internal and client-facing counsel on medical strategy including, but not limited to, product labeling/MOA/MOD, the competitive landscape analysis, and functional/clinical product benefits
  • Make the science and clinical perspective digestible and translate into an actionable scientific narrative or POV
  • Partner closely with Brand Strategy to translate complex clinical data into compelling and actionable narratives to deepen engagement and drive differentiation for our brands
  • Serve as a key resource to the Creative team during the content creation process to ensure clinical credibility and accuracy of DSA and branded assets
  • Serve as the Medical lead on new business opportunities

Develop Strong Client Relationships

  • Foster and strengthen client relationships by showcasing medical expertise and serving as a trusted leader
  • Serve as a key and engaged resource during MLR reviews 
  • Provide medical POVs to clients by attending key medical congresses and keeping up with any clinical developments in relevant therapeutic areas 

Manage a Growing Medical Team

  • Serve as one of the leaders of the Medical Team, and help imre establish new standards in pharma marketing
  • Mentor the team of Medical Writers, with the potential to manage direct reports over time

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 

  • Advanced life sciences degree required; PharmD, PhD, or MD 
  • 5 years or more of relevant industry experience with at least 3 years pharma advertising AOR experience, including promotional and/or med comms 
  • Strong knowledge of FDA regulatory requirements for digital and social media marketing
  • Passion for the evolving nature of digital marketing, and how that translates into Medical Strategy
  • Able to digest complex scientific topics and translate them for various audiences, including patient, caregiver, and HCP
  • Able to work across a range of clients, therapeutic areas, and brands to meet tight deadlines
  • Works well within a team setting and collaborates well on projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Quality checks for all imre Health content in a medical context
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
