The Director of Data Analytics will bring a wealth of agency or client-side experience, and are comfortable creating and overseeing strategic measurement plans, translating complex data sets and analysis into concise, insightful data storytelling, and working across integrated teams of experts to clearly define what we can and can’t measure, with a laser focus on how we deliver bottom-line impact for our clients. 

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Lead measurement strategy across healthcare accounts, working with integrated teams of experts across disciplines including strategy, digital marketing, media, and PR
  • Define strategic markers of success and co-lead planning the best path to deliver the strongest results 
  • Highly entrepreneurial self-starter who is excited by the prospect of building a practice from the ground up and defining a new approach to measurement
  • Set clear, quantifiable goals and KPIs across the marketing mix, working closely with strategy to define the “north star” of our programs
  • Work with a team of analysts and data viz experts to turn analysis into data storytelling suitable for clients at various levels of an organization, including the C-suite
  • Work with partners and vendors to acquire and process any data sets or research needed to provide a complete picture of the health of our programs
  • Ensure teams are kept up to date on the latest measurement capabilities of various channels and platforms to ensure our programs are effective and efficient
  • Inspire leaders across the agency to incorporate data storytelling into everyday management and planning to drive new ideas and create new opportunities for clients
  • Develop training programs and maintain robust professional development opportunities for team members

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field
  • 8+ years of social marketing and digital marketing experience, healthcare industry highly preferred
  • A love for innovation and a drive to test what is new to help clients reach their business goals
  • Analytical skills for leading the development of research methodologies to inform multi-channel strategic planning activities
  • Experience with digital analytics platforms, performance marketing best practices, and brand marketing measurement tools and methodologies
  • Experience with DMPs including Tableau, Google Data Studio, and Salesforce or Adobe solutions
  • Familiarity with Crossix data and/or IQVIA
  • Understand the digital ecosystem and the role of social and digital activation for healthcare brands
  • Effectively apply knowledge of emerging trends and technology to programs
  • A keen eye for detail and an aptitude for storytelling through the use of data and insights
