We are one of the fastest growing and most exciting agencies working in pharmaceutical/bio and life sciences marketing today, and we’re looking to add a Group Account Director (GAD) to our team of experts.

Reporting to one of our VP’s, the Group Account Director will bring a wealth of agency and client experience; proven brand-building expertise and a track record of team building and growth. Pharmaceutical marketing experience, as well as a workable knowledge of FDA regulations and MLR processes, procedures and best practices is critical. Agency experience is preferred. 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 
  • Providing overall leadership for account teams in planning, recommending and implementing strategic plans and proactive communication initiatives
  • Partnering in the development of highly impactful brand strategies with our Strategy and Creators teams
  • Planning and developing programs and services which are consistent with the client’s mission, purpose and brand strategy
  • Mobilizing new and untested approaches for engaging audiences online and offline that align with business goals and target consumer interests
  • Leading annual account planning and driving account growth through active development and defense of strategic recommendations and budgets
  • Attending industry events and leading business development
  • Accountability for fiscal management of client budgets and program delivery 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 

  • Prior agency experience working with pharmaceutical/ bio and life sciences industry 
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills, knowledge of integrated marketing and communications programs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to direct integrated teams of specialists 
  • Analytical thinking, problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Ability to guide client relationships and propose marketing and communications solutions
  • Team leader who encourages collaboration and ideation among team members as well as an aggressive and fearless marketer, that is willing to get their hands dirty and do whatever it takes to deliver the highest quality work on behalf of their clients 
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising or English
  • 10+ years of experience with agency experience
