Product Manager, Data Security: Analytics & Security

The Position: 

In this role, you will be responsible for security solutions that help Imperva’s customers to secure their most critical assets - their data. 

To achieve this goal, you will lead a machine learning-based product capability with exceptional UX that enables security professionals to easily detect and investigate malicious activity that endangers their data. You will oversee the execution of its design, go-to-market, and value realization activities. You will also be responsible for initiating new solutions that provide security value to Imperva’s existing and new customers. 

You will work closely with customers, sales, partners, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.  

We are looking for someone that is both a team player and individual contributor that is looking to take a central position in a fast-growing business. Candidates also need to be hands-on, methodical, analytical and original thinkers, with a passion for building products and technology.



  • Work closely with customers to collect and assess requirements for Imperva existing and future data security solutions
  • Manage the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities, including building roadmap for products under your responsibility
  • Work closely with marketing to educate the market on the need for data security solutions
  • Work closely with security research to prioritize research of new attack scenarios
  • Increase adoption of security products among current install base
  • Work with Engineering on an ongoing basis to prioritize and define development plans
  • Serve as a focal point for sales, sales engineers, support and professional services on the product
  • Supporting product training and sales activities


  • At least 4+ years of experience as a product manager
  • Experience in the cybersecurity area a big advantage
  • Experience in one or more of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud services
  • Experience in databases, information management, data lakes
  • Demonstrated ability to develop close working relationships with a cross-functional team that spans multiple cultures and geographies
  • High level of self-training and self-drive
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree graduate, MBA or equivalent business experience preferred
  • Ability to travel 10-20% once feasible
