Director, Partner Ecosystem- Data Security

The Position: 

In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to join a strong team that delivers a leading product in the data security market that builds on 20 years of company experience and proven capabilities. You will lead work with partners across execution of product-related vision, design, execution, go-to-market, and value realization activities. While working with partners, you will collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and customers to make the most out of partnership opportunities. 

We are looking for a team player that is looking to take a central position in a fast-growing business. Candidates need to be hands-on, methodical, analytical, and innovative thinkers, with a passion for building products and technology.

 Responsibilities: 

  • Own the vision, plan, and execution to grow Data Security business by identifying opportunities to integrate partners into the Data Security partner’s ecosystem.
  • Collect and assess market requirements by conducting market research supported by market data.
  • Sharpen and advance related strategies, partner profiles, and practices to continuously improve results, including through clearly defined goals for partner relationships. 
  • Develop, integrate, and make the most of an expanding set of ecosystem data security technology partners, including through prioritizing partner ecosystem product capabilities. 
  • Work across Imperva to evangelize  partner-related Imperva data security capabilities and to drive changes in roadmap plans and capabilities that meet partner and customer needs.
  • Create a buy-in for the Data Security partners ecosystem roadmap across key external stakeholders including analyst and channel partners.
  • Partner with Engineering on an ongoing basis to define the product development plans related to partner ecosystem

 Qualifications:

  • Proven record of building successful partnership relationships that drive real results
  • At least 8 years of experience as a product manager, business development or partner manager (role can scale with more experience) 
  • Experience in cybersecurity (a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop close working relationships with a cross-functional team that spans multiple cultures and geographies
  • Technical Bachelor’s degree (MBA or Master’s degree – a plus)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to 10-20 percent travel
