Imperva is seeking a collaborative and diligent person to join the Global Service Delivery team as a ServiceNow Administrator/Developer. The Global Service Delivery team is responsible for infrastructure and cloud operations of our SaaS-based cyber security product, and includes 24x7 Network Operations Center (NOC), Incident Response, and system engineering staff. 


As the in-house ServiceNow Administrator/Developer, you will work alongside an external professional-services integrator to complete the initial deployment and configuration of a new ServiceNow implementation. Your role during implementation will be to coordinate internal stakeholder needs along with the external engagement team while performing a portion of the hands-on configuration work. As the initial “build” is nearing completion, you will transition to a “run” mode, where you will continue to remain the focal point of all end-user requests for customizations and enhancements, either performing the work yourself or coordinating external contractors as may be needed. You will be responsible for system maintenance, upgrades, user management, and related administrative tasks.This role will provide financial benefits to the company through improved quality, productivity, efficiency, and customer experience.



  • Day-to-day administration of ServiceNow platform, including issue and performance mitigation, health checks
  • Receive user requests for enhancements of the ServiceNow platform, triage, and organize into agile backlog
  • Configure and enhance core ServiceNow applications based on user requests
  • Write clear, concise and accurate technical documentation, such as requirements, system design, use case diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams
  • Support the development and growth of the services delivered by the organization
  • Load, manipulate and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems
  • Participate in deployment of features and any ServiceNow releases
  • Provide administrative support to the ServiceNow user base
  • Perform upkeep on existing solutions (e.g. business rules, UI policies, client scripts, ACLs, workflows, dashboard & reporting, data imports, service catalog development, etc.)
  • Monitor and optimize the health, usage, and overall compliance of the ServiceNow platform
  • Identify system deficiencies and divergences from best practice within the production instance
  • Advise teams on design, development and overall best practice configuration of ServiceNow.
  • Advise on processes to improve ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping) functionality
  • Ability to prioritize their day-to-day activities given overarching guidance, and own issues from start to finish
  • Work with a globally-distributed team across multiple timezones



  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical field
  • A minimum of 8+ years’ progressive experience (for P4 - 12+ for P5), including:
    • 2+ years of experience in a technical role and with ITIL and ITOM processes
    • 2+ years of direct experience in analysis, design, development and implementation of ServiceNow applications
  • ServiceNow Certified (System Administrator or other similar skill)
  • Excellent knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and ongoing knowledge of latest ServiceNow features
  • Knowledge of ITOM (Discovery and Service Mapping) concepts is required in addition to ServiceNow ITSM modules
  • Understanding and experience in configuration management principles
  • Understanding of the SaaS (software as a service) business & technology model
  • Excellent communications skills in English required - verbally with all levels of customer IT and business management, as well as written with technical assessments and project related reports
  • Demonstrated self-direction and attention to detail with ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment with short deadlines
  • Strong organization and process improvement skills
  • Self-starter who is able to work independently
  • Have experience with all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle
  • Can handle confidential information and material with the highest degree of professional responsibility
  • Can prioritize tasks to meet business needs and stay within documented service level agreements (SLA’s)
