Impact Networking is hiring a Digital Design Intern for our Nationally ranked Best and Brightest Workplace!

Impact’s paid internship program is designed to provide our candidates with exposure to a fast-paced marketing agency and what a career with Impact Networking has to offer. We are looking for candidates that are excited about the world of marketing and gaining exposure to brand strategy and design. Creative Interns will be challenged and have the opportunity to develop a strong and vast skill set in design, branding, art direction, and collaboration on all sides of marketing. The goal of our program is to bring on our intern candidates as a full time Impact employee upon graduation.

Summer Intern Spotlight

What Interns get out of an Internship at Impact:

Our internship program is designed to assist interns in the transition from academics to the professional work force. Through our hands-on internship program, interns are given the chance to experience the consultative approach that our creative team exhibits firsthand. Creative Interns receive mentorship from Senior Designers and Creative Directors, as well as the opportunity to openly interact with external clients. Interns gain real world experience and participate in on-going training to develop time management, organization skills, the ability to work cross collaboratively with other teams, and opportunity to expand personal portfolio.

Graphic Design Interns will gain exposure to our marketing services including but not limited to:

  • Website Design & Development (UX,UI, Production etc.)
  • Automation
  • SEO
  • Content Marketing
  • Photography and Video
  • Digital Branding
  • Market Research, Strategy, & Analysis
  • Paid Media & Paid Search
  • App Design & Development
  • Business Consulting 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Provide support to the Design team on assigned Managed Marketing clients
  • Attend and actively listen during client meetings
  • Foster a positive, collaborative work environment
  • Assist in any tasks assigned to you from the Design team
  • Work on print and digital design projects
  • Work with higher level designers to learn creative processes

Internships are a mutually beneficial agreement between Impact and those entering the workforce. It allows young professionals to gain real-life experience while test-driving a potential career. In addition, it allows Impact to benefit by training potential employees that will be a good fit for our business before hiring them on full-time.

Upon completion of this internship, each individual will have a review with his/her direct manager. If the experience has been mutually beneficial between the manager, team, and intern, a full-time opportunity with Impact may be extended upon graduation, so long as the hiring pipeline allows for such move.

Qualifications:

Impact understands that students currently enrolled in college courses may not possess the high-level knowledge that is required to be immediately successful in a creative role. The goal of the internship is to gauge where an interns’ design skillset currently lies and if those skills will lead to a smooth transition into Impact Managed Marketing. With that said, this will be a very competitive hiring process and our goal is to bring on those that have the highest degree of knowledge in design as well as the characteristics that fit this internship. While not all our qualifications are required, they are preferred to have a successful internship.

  • Must be currently enrolled in a program or 4-year institution in pursuit of a degree in Graphic Design, Art Direction, or other related design field (Required)
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and cross functional with teams (client management, web development, market research, digital media, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of design programs (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc....)
  • Strategic thinking and creative process skills
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and active listening skills
  • Must provide Portfolio
