Overview
The Director of Business Transformation will serve as a catalyst for driving transformative change across our organization during a pivotal growth phase. With a focus on transitioning from custom-built tools to off-the-shelf solutions like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (D365 Finance) and Halo PSA, this role will help bridge the gap between business needs and technology. By leveraging expertise in process optimization and change management, this individual will ensure scalable, sustainable improvements that empower our teams to deliver exceptional results while aligning with our strategic objectives to scale from $200 million to $500 million. 
 
Responsibilities 
  • Lead and execute strategic process improvement initiatives in collaboration with technology leaders and cross-functional teams. 
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and develop actionable plans to address gaps or challenges. 
  • Champion change management efforts, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and training programs to ensure adoption and sustainability. 
  • Analyze existing workflows, systems, and metrics to recommend enhancements that align with organizational goals. 
  • Facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and strategy meetings to uncover inefficiencies and drive alignment on process improvements. 
  • Develop and track performance metrics to assess the impact of process changes and ensure continuous improvement. 
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize and align process improvement initiatives with the company's strategic vision. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to technology leaders, offering expertise in best practices and innovative solutions. 
  • Create detailed documentation and playbooks for optimized processes to maintain consistency and knowledge retention. 
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring teams and fostering a mindset of operational excellence. 
Things We Are Looking For 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • Proven experience in leading process improvement and change management initiatives, preferably within a technology-driven organization. 
  • Previous experience as a Process Improvement Manager, Operations Manager, Operational Strategy Manager, Transformation Program Manager, Change Management Manager, Director of Operations, Process Improvement Director, Director of Operational Strategy, Transformation Program Director, Director of Change Management, or similar positions focused on business transformation, strategy, and process improvement. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights. 
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills to effectively engage diverse stakeholders and drive consensus. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail. 
  • Familiarity with process improvement frameworks such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies. 
  • Proficiency in using tools and systems, such as ERP and PSA, for workflow mapping, data analysis, and project management. 
  • Adept at influencing and building relationships across all levels of the organization. 
  • Certification in change management (i.e. CCMP), Business Analysis (i.e. CBAP) or process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) is highly desirable. 
  • A passion for driving meaningful change and delivering measurable results.
