The Salesforce Systems Architect will lead the solutioning of Salesforce applications, including all roadmap projects, integrations, reporting, and analytics.

 

Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.

 

Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $100,758 and $146,184 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

 

Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.

 

Travel: You can also expect up to approximately 20% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Envision Your Experience.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Conducts research into the use of Salesforce, producing a report of findings with recommended steps and a roadmap for Salesforce solutions.
  • Collaborates with colleagues and customers to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements.
  • Reviews solutions and recommends improvements.
  • Grooms and refines the Salesforce product backlog in liaison with stakeholders on the project.
  • Owns the design of Salesforce and (optionally) other affiliated solutions for Sales, Service, and platform solutions.
  • Guides user story creation.
  • Works to ensure technical design details and acceptance criteria are defined for each story.
  • Collaborates with other development team members to assess story points, technical risk, and testing methodology.
  • Support our integration team to identify integration methodologies, field mapping, and translation requirements.
  • Describes, illustrates, and documents designs with appropriate justifications.
  • Provides input into the steps needed for testing of proposed solutions.
  • Maintains the security and integrity of the application software.
  • Grooms and refines the Salesforce product backlog in liaison with Salesforce SMEs.
  • Provides a collaborative project and workstream planning.
  • Able to adapt to a dynamic work environment and be creative within a team.
  • Stays knowledgeable of Salesforce features and functionality as the application evolves and be ready to leverage those changes.
  • Travel up to 20% required.
  • Other duties as required.

 

Share Your Expertise.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

  • 8 years’ experience in a leading role in delivering Salesforce projects.
  • Strong background in multiple Salesforce functions, with a preference towards Salesforce Service Cloud experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and interactive when online.
  • Certification in: Salesforce Administrator and/or Salesforce Developer and Technical Architect and/or Application Architect.
  • The ability to understand where a no-code or low-code solution is preferable.
  • Wide experience building Salesforce solutions through configuration.
  • Previous experience with the Salesforce CPQ and/or Salesforce Service Cloud environment is preferable.
  • Previous experience with Integration between Salesforce and other systems (e.g. NetSuite) is desirable.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum delivery framework.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to observe trends. Able to actively make suggestions based on the results.
  • Available and responsive to questions, clarifications, and instructions.
  • Ability to tailor communication to multiple audiences at all levels.
  • A self-starter, experienced in leading projects or delivery work streams.
  • Ability to demonstrate concepts visually and in writing in a way that enables stakeholders to decide with confidence.
  • A strategic approach to solution design, with proven ability to develop and execute tactical plans to support the strategy.
  • Excellent ability to coach, motivate and direct work tasks to a multi-disciplinary team of Salesforce professionals.
  • Experience working with offshore/nearshore development teams.
