The Product Management Director – Business Systems is responsible for product planning and execution through the lifecycle of our Imagine Learning Portal Services product. This includes gathering and prioritizing requirements for the product, defining the vision for the product, and collaborating with other directors from engineering, marketing, sales, and operations departments in order to ensure that the financial and consumer satisfaction goals are met.

 

Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.

 

Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $124,317.00 and $168,000.00 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.

 

Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote, preferably in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.

 

Travel: You can also expect up to approximately 25% travel, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Envision Your Experience.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Manage a team of product managers and business analysts to develop and improve enterprise systems like Salesforce and NetSuite.
  • Collaborate with executives to translate their vision into actionable product strategies.
  • Ensure a balance between business requirements and technical feasibility in consultation with the offshore development team.
  • Align initiatives with business demands in coordination with sales, marketing, and product development groups.
  • Deliver Salesforce and NetSuite features/functions on time and within budget in partnership with cross-functional teams.
  • Assume accountability for cost management and other yearly business metrics for Salesforce and NetSuite products.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure overall product performance and economic goals are met.
  • Define and manage operational changes to Salesforce and NetSuite products, such as user interface improvements and integration updates.
  • Partner closely with OCM team on change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new features and updates.
  • Ensure compliance with data security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously monitor performance and effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to improve and innovate enterprise systems.
  • Other duties as required.

 

Share Your Expertise.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

  • Master’s Degree in Product Leadership, Business Administration, Marketing, IT or relevant field and 10+ years of experience in product management leadership; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Proven track record of product planning, defining, and launching successful products, unifying product portfolios, and working with SaaS product lines.
  • Experience in thought leadership to drive and inspire teams.
  • Experience in Sales or Sales Operations is strongly preferred. 
  • Some experience in financial services helpful.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor others.
  • Excellent facilitation and collaboration skills with both internal and external department teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel analytical tools.
  • Strong work ethic; perform and complete tasks in a timely manner and in adherence to company policies & procedures.
  • Creative thinker who can develop product solutions on short notice while displaying calmness and composure in the face of immense workload and pressure.
