Imagine Your Impact.
The Video Producer oversees on-screen and voice-over talent and produces recording sessions in the video recording studios and on-location to facilitate the development of online instructional content and supporting material for the primary and secondary education market. Responsibilities of this position include consulting with subject matter experts on the creative use of video in online content, recruiting and training talent as well as maintaining relationships with any involved talent and talent agencies, ensuring scripts are performance-ready, scheduling and producing video shoots and voice over recordings per the production schedule, providing accurate filming notes to editors, reviewing the finished video for quality, and maintaining video/audio equipment as well as researching and making recommendations for new a/v technologies.
- Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.
- Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $47,600 and $57,000 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
- Location: In this US-based position your location will be in our headquarters in Tempe, Arizona. To be considered for this role, you must be able to work in-office, as needed.
Envision Your Experience.
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Oversee cast and crew in the video recording process for Imagine Learning's product development team, spanning multiple product lines.
- Recruit talent through networks and contact with talent agencies, hold auditions, and determine the most suitable talent for a project.
- Train and coach talent to ensure high-quality instruction and engagement appropriate for the target grade level.
- Act as a liaison to employees in talent positions and talent agencies, maintaining relationships for current and future project needs.
- Oversee contract negotiations and invoicing for talent agencies.
- Schedule on-screen talent sessions to meet production timelines and deliver audio and video media on schedule across multiple projects and product lines.
- Collaborate with content development teams to design new approaches to video-based instruction.
- Develop content provided by subject matter experts into creatively engaging scripts.
- Research new or alternative video production tools and make recommendations for future studio development.
- Maintain current studio equipment and explore new ways to utilize it for maximum efficiency and production value.
- Provide media asset revisions for reported defects.
- Assist Imagine Learning teammates in producing internal/external training or sales tool videos.
- Use Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition to assist video and audio editing. Assemble raw footage, trim existing videos, create visual patches to repair onscreen typos/errors, dub misspeaks, manipulate graphics into animated sequences in sync with live action, and audio processing.

Share Your Expertise.
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, mass media, audio and video production, or a related field (preferred) and 3-5 years’ experience producing multi-media products or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of video production processes.
- Knowledge and experience with video studio production hard/software, workflow management, and production processes.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed, and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
- Attention to detail and desire to deliver beyond expectations.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings as needed.
