Account Manager - Entertainment

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and dynamic sales team, working across market leading digital brands in the Entertainment, Tech and Lifestyle space. Reporting to the Head of Games, the Sales Executive will be responsible for selling exciting and engaging digital products across IGN and the wider Ziff Davis portfolio. Products include branded content, sponsorships, social activations, display media and events.  

The London based sales team sits within the wider global team with offices in LA, New York, San Francisco, and Sydney. Our diverse sales team is made up of enthusiasts of games, TV, movies, comics, tech and all things geeky! We strongly encourage people of every race, gender, sexual orientation and background to apply.  

Responsibilities include:  
  • Proactively pitch to media agencies and direct clients to drive revenue across IGN's multiple channels, and the wider Ziff Davis portfolio.  
  • Develop media agency and client direct business by building and maintaining relationships with digital planning, social, partnership, and marketing teams.  
  • Work closely with their manager to deliver revenue forecasts, revenue reports, and client strategies.  
  • Build effective regular communication cross-departmentally to deliver strong and innovative proposals to clients.  
  • Make relevant recommendations on products based on market feedback and advertising opportunities.  
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Well developed communication skills with the ability to motivate and drive creativity amongst internal teams.  
  • Competitive attitude towards driving revenue.  
  • Understanding of KPI setting and client expectations.  
  • Knowledge of the video games market.  
  • A desire to act as an ambassador for IGN and the wider Ziff Davis portfolio.  
Main Job Requirements  

  • Minimum 2 years digital sales experience.  
  • Excellent understanding of the media marketplace.  
  • Demonstrable presentation, communication, sales & negotiation skills. 
  • Client management experience.
