About Us:

IGN is the world’s leading media brand for games and entertainment. We’re committed to bringing our 260 million monthly users engaging, shareable content worth geeking out over. As a media powerhouse, we’re across all current social platforms from Instagram to Snapchat, with 51 million social followers.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Custom Content Manager to oversee the sponsored content production process for IGN.

Reporting into the VP of Global Creative Solutions, this individual will work closely with our editors, sales team, and producers to ensure all sponsored content projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard.

This role will lead the creation of big, innovative content ideas for clients - from concept all the way through to final execution -  while adhering to deadlines and internal guidelines. The role sits within the global creative solutions team but collaborates with teams across the business including commercial, legal, editorial, social, and video -- both in the UK and in IGN’s offices throughout the world -- on a daily basis.

About You

You’re a gamer with a passion for movies, TV shows, and fan culture. You understand the intricacies of gameplay mechanics, keep up to date with trends in the industry, and know what will resonate with IGN’s audience. As well as being a creative writer, you have a marketing background and a good understanding of how to pair marketing objectives with sponsored content audiences will respond to. You manage projects efficiently, and are able to prioritise and meet deadlines without compromising quality of work. You’re comfortable occasionally being on camera as needed for projects. In addition, you’re a personable communicator who enjoys sharing ideas with your team and building positive relationships with clients.

IGN’s team is made up of all kinds of people who share a common love of games, TV, movies, comics, tech, and all things geeky. We strongly encourage people of every race, gender, sexual orientation, and background to apply.
