As Content Programming Manager, you are a key member of the Content team and are responsible for:
STRATEGISE
- Implement the iflix editorial strategy and vision
- Set and update platform-programming framework, ensuring local programming teams meet the iflix editorial standard and follow best practices
- Utilise analytics to inform and adjust strategy, sharing this information across local programming teams
- Guide relevant stakeholders in indexing the iflix inventory, such as standardising genres and other metadata
SCHEDULE, IDEATE & CURATE
- Work closely with acquisitions to select/ re-select Western & Regional titles, and scheduling their launch dates into the content calendar
- Build and maintain monthly editorial & promotional calendar based on new key titles, major holidays/ events, and of-the-moment curation, always finding opportunities to align with Content Marketing/PR & Ad Sales
- Review inventory, and coordinate content optimization across markets (such as ideating banner copy and artwork to maximise content discoverability, or curating a collection to ride on a trending topic/ movie)
COMMUNICATE & MANAGE
- Facilitate verbal and written communications between teams - particularly local programming teams, Content Marketing/PR - regarding promotional and editorial plans of Western & Regional content, product iterations and roadmap, and partnership updates, among others
- Content POC for partner platform programming, i.e. iflix on SHAREit, Migo, Okezone, etc.
- Ad hoc support on a variety of projects, as they are assigned
- Nurture local programming teams.
To succeed in this role, you need to be:

- Organized, and passionate about content, especially Korean and Hollywood
- Capable of driving internal stakeholders to a consensus on important issues
- Analytical skills and familiarity with data analytics within the SVOD industry
- Understanding of content landscape and SVOD environment and business models as well as subscriber/viewing trends
- Ability to meet multiple objectives and tight deadlines in an environment with little supervision
- People Management – ability to set priorities, give clear directions and develop strategies that brings outcomes
