Background Information:
Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), provider of automated software testing, data analysis, and cybersecurity solutions for complex, mission-critical systems in the US Department of Defense (DOD), is seeking a Digital Systems Engineer to be based in our Mount Laurel, NJ, Arlington, VA, or San Diego CA offices.
Overview:
Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) is currently seeking an experienced Digital Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The selected Digital Systems Engineer will digital system integration including software virtualization, hardware emulation, and modeling and simulation components within a US government-owned Integrated Digital Engineering Environment (IDEE). The Digital Systems modeled in the environment are primarily RF electronics, modeled by FPGAs.
All applicants must be able to obtain/maintain an active U.S. Security Clearance.
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct detailed analysis of existing digital system representations, including software virtualization, hardware emulation, and modeling and simulation components.
- Develop plan to update existing digital system representations and create new digital system representations.
- Integrate digital system representations within a government owned IDEE to support system of systems (SoS) design, development, integration, test, and evaluation.
- Work closely with the US government representatives and stakeholders to obtain existing digital artifacts and justify the need for additional digital artifacts based on fidelity requirements.
- Development and implementation of a plan to verify and validate the individual digital system representations as well as the integrated SoS environment.
- Actively assist US government stakeholders in creation of digital representations of software defined antenna equipment and integration within the PNT SoS IDEE.
- Develop and implement a plan to periodically update and test the digital representations and the integrated SoS environment.

*Pursuant to California Senate Bill 1162, IDT is required to disclose the “pay scale” or “pay range” associated with a job posting. Notably, however, this amount may not be reflective of actual compensation that may be earned as pay is dependent on a candidate’s experience, skills, and education. The posted range does not include bonuses, commissions, tips, or other benefits. Click here for additional information about Senate Bill 1162. IDT is often looking to place multiple candidates at various levels. Therefore, more than one pay range has been included, commensurate with experience.
