Background information:

Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), provider of automated software testing, data analysis, and cybersecurity solutions for complex, mission-critical systems in the US Department of Defense (DOD), is seeking a Customer Success Sr. Manager.


IDT is in search of a Customer Success Sr. Manager who will work within the Product and Technology team to ensure the market success of IDT’s ATRT Enterprise Platform product.  This responsibility will include supporting all aspects of AEP (ATRT Enterprise Platform) product development, product deployment and user support.  The Customer Success Sr. Manager will work across the business including with, Senior Leadership, Product and Technology Leads, Business Development and Business Area Leads to ensure that the AEP product is best aligned with the market and our individual customers.  In addition, the Customer Success Sr. Manager will interface directly with customers to communicate AEP features and functionality and to better understand customer requirements.  The Customer Success Sr. Manager will have the ability to conduct internal and external demonstrations highlighting the features, functionality and value add of the AEP product.  The Customer Success Sr. Manager will participate in the development of AEP product strategy and technology roadmaps based on an understanding of market needs and will be responsible to help meet AEP product growth targets.

The Customer Success Sr. Manager will work within the Product and Technology team and may have direct reports as the team expands.  As a People Leader the Customer Success Sr. Manager will ensure that the AEP Product Team has all the required technical skills and will be responsible for all team personnel management matters.

To drive product alignment across the business the Customer Success Sr. Manager will work with business leaders to ensure the details of AEP capability, requirements, development priorities, schedules, features and functionality are well communicated.  In addition, the Customer Success Sr. Manager will ensure that AEP product strategy is aligned to support IDT business objectives.

 All applicants must be able to obtain/maintain an active U.S. Security Clearance.

 Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop AEP product strategy to meet Business Objective
  • Product roadmap development based on customer requirements and business strategy
  • Product Communications – Internal and external communications on AEP product capability, development and future vision
  • AEP product branding and market positioning
  • Conduct AEP product demonstrations for internal and external customers
  • Define key metrics to monitor, measure and report on product performance to make data-driven decisions on product development and priorities
  • Assess AEP UI/UX and feedback recommended improvements
  • Develop AEP monetization strategies to maximize revenue
  • Work in partnership with AEP Capability Development Leads
  • Up to 20% travel may be required

 Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience with product management

 Preferred skills:

  • Exceptional Product Management / Leadership experience and expertise
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers communicating the value proposition of a software product
  • Experience operating in the DoD space
  • Strong strategic, creative thinking, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Knowledge of DoD tactical computing infrastructure systems
  • Experience managing and growing a technical team
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a budget to meet business objectives
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and potentially a TS Clearance
  • High accountability to self and others
