Role Mission: The Marketing Manager will support a portfolio of IDEA regions across the district in all aspects of marketing support, with a particular focus on print collateral. You'll work with the other Marketing team members to analyze insights and trends to determine strategies for improvement not only in the resources offered, but the vendors procured, the processes implemented, and the ROI achieved. The Marketing Manager will also identify areas of opportunity within the organization in which the marketing team can lean in and support with the overall goal of increasing student enrollment and staff recruitment, as well as retention efforts for both.

 

Location: This is a full-time hybrid position based in Texas with preference given to candidates who live in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or who are willing to relocate.

 

What You’ll Do – Accountabilities

 

Essential Duties:

  • Support the organization’s Boots on the Ground (BOG) initiative, which includes various print collateral pieces, swag, and recruitment tools
  • Liaise with Comms and Creative Services teams to create fresh, compelling, on-brand and on-message marketing collateral that supports student and staff recruitment and persistence initiatives
  • Meet with regional student and talent recruitment leaders regularly to assess needs and identify opportunities within the organization in which the marketing team can support
  • Work across departments within the organization, building cross-functional teams to accomplish objectives
  • Identify and tailor messaging to regional and targeted needs
  • Manage all print collateral and templates, coordinating creative for all campaigns, with on-time delivery to ensure successful campaign execution
  • Evaluate, assess, and adjust effectiveness of collateral pieces, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures that yield the highest conversion / ROI
  • Ensure that all print collateral pieces are available on BrandFolder, and facilitate the creation of new collateral and/or templates on BrandFolder
  • Provide boots-on-the-ground marketing support as needed to support student and staff recruitment efforts
  • Lead trainings on the resources created (i.e.; templates, toolkits, print collateral, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; journalism and / or marketing preferred. Experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: 3+ years of professional marketing or similar experience required
  • Experience working in multiple markets required
  • Preferred experience in student and/or staff recruitment
  • Preferred experience in copywriting / journalism preferred
  • Preferred experience in project management
  • Bilingual preferred

 

 

 
What We Offer:


Compensation & Benefits:

Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $81,000 and $95,800, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity. This role is also eligible for performance pay based on organizational performance and goal attainment.
