Client Service Assistant - Small Business

Position Overview
The Client Service Assistant provides day-to-day support for small business clients.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provides day to day service for an assigned book of business.
- Set up and maintain client and prospect information, databases and files.
- Maintain client policy information and conduct period policy reviews to ensure new and renewal policy needs are complete and accurate to maintain coverage.
- Coordinate and develop renewal questionnaires, applications, submissions and market summaries.
- Review, analyze and summarize policy quotes, coverage forms and proposal preparation in support of new business opportunities and current book of business.
- Binding coverages and ordering policies
- Perform all administrative functions associated with client maintenance including issuing policy certificates, answering customer questions about policy details, and other administrative needs.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; some college level coursework preferred
- A minimum of three (3) years of Commercial Insurance experience required
- Valid Resident State Agent’s License required
- Exceptional communication skills including listening, speaking and writing
- Exceptional relationship development and intrapersonal skills
- Good working knowledge and usage of Applied EPIC
- Skilled in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

- Ability to multi-task and juggle many different client requests, prioritize projects and deadlines
