The Opportunity: 

  

Enhance the client experience by providing support to the internal team.  To develop skills, industry knowledge and relationships by meeting or surpassing the service expectations of clients, prospective clients, agency and company personnel.

The Client  Service Assistant is driven by prompt, accurate and thoughtful service to internal team members and clients by consistently responding to inquiries within 24 hours of receipt. No prior experience required; 2+ years’ experience preferred in the employee benefit space, s/he will preferably have an active life and health license. 

  

In This Role You Will Execute On: 

  • Timely response and follow up of all issues/inquiries received, including proactively updating team on outstanding items
  • Cross train to support both advocacy and marketing
  • Assisting with preparation of various client presentations and deliverables
  • Support marketing efforts for new business opportunities and current book of business including reviewing and summarizing quotes and proposal preparation where applicable
  • Running and distributing client reports
  • Provide prompt, accurate & thoughtful service to clients by consistently responding to internal and external inquiries and tasks on or before deadlines
  • Produce accurate and thorough documents using word and excel within 30 days

In This Role You’ll Need: 

  • Obtain a Life & Health License within the first year, if not already licensed
  • A proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Willingness to learn new skills and procedures
  • Ability to move from project to project
  • Master and execute servicing/processing tasks within the Agency Management System BenefitPoint within 3 to 6 months
  • Discipline in 100% documentation of services provided in BenefitPoint
  • an eye for detail and accuracy, be able to multi-task, and can work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong listening, written and oral communication skills are necessary
  • A passionate work ethic and desire to learn and grow will be essential to succeed in this position
