The Opportunity:
The Service Assistant will consistently and effectively provide support to the various disciplines focusing on sales, marketing, underwriting, claims, risk management, accounting, etc. within Hylant Administrative Services (HAS).  In addition, the Service Assistant will support the board of directors of our various programs as well as state sales managers and others while continuing to grow and develop insurance knowledge and professionalism to the highest level.

In This Role You Will Execute On:
  • Be able to master and execute on the daily servicing and processing for the various HAS departments and work in the various systems for the different programs.  Items may include, but not limited to:
    • Creating new and renewal insurance applications
    • Ordering loss runs
    • Processing insurance endorsements, cancellations, audits
    • Insurance policy review and issuance 
  • Accurately bill various clients via proper usage within EPIC (Agency Management System).
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and thoughtful service to HAS clients, sales team members, other disciplines within HAS, and outside business partners and program leadership.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with fellow team members, clients, vendors, and business partners.
  • Continue ongoing pursuit of insurance knowledge, i.e. Property & Casualty study guides, internal and external training, and education opportunities.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as requested.
