The Opportunity:
The Vice President of Talent Management is a key leadership position and strategic talent partner to the Chief People Officer, executive team, and managers to drive talent strategies that fuel our growth and lead to highly engaged teams.  

In this role you will execute on:

  • Collaborate with the Chief People Officer to identify opportunities to support Hylant’s mission through talent management. 
  • Provide strategic engagement and thought leadership and design, develop, and deploy talent management practices, processes, and tools in support of performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and career development.
  • Manage compensation programs and processes by monitoring industry trends and making recommendations to ensure individual salary, bonus, equity, and other compensation elements align with goals and budgets.
  • Drive alignment of organizational structure to strategy: Ensure the right people are in place to achieve organizational objectives. Identify and execute organizational changes where needed to support the company’s strategic decisions.
  • Provide guidance to leaders on HR related matters
  • Implement policies and procedures that remove barriers, support efficiency, and financial stability, and enable employees to perform at their best.
  • Identify and deliver key performance metrics for Talent functions; assess Talent performance and market competitiveness based on these metrics.
  • Collaborate with Talent Development to develop and deliver training to management and employees on employment, performance management, career development and employee relations.
  • Maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
 
In this role you will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive human resource management experience including five (5) or more years in an HR leadership role. 
  • SHRM-CP/SCP or HRCI PHR/SPHR highly preferred
  • Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Domestic travel required
  • Must have strong general business instincts, with deep insights on talent and an interest and ability to contribute outside of the Talent function
  • A high sense of urgency and a high bar for quality
