HydraFacial is hiring a Database Administrator Manager who will simplify and automate information delivery, providing sophisticated insights and analysis to support decision making. This role will also focus on high-impact, high-visibility projects that contribute to improving the analytics strategy.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Provide the daily leadership, scheduling, and assurance that all routine and ad hoc project management/scheduling, system administration and IT infrastructure processes are handled to satisfaction for the Database Administrators
- Supply other managerial functions to team and with guidance from Operations Manager, such as performance reviews and metrics, coaching/consulting, personnel task assignment, in- and out- of cycle reporting and status of team's activities and/or issues. Support and assure adherence to all corporate and client site policies
- Responsible for the security and management of Database systems in non-production and production environments
- Solve complex integration and technical problems in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Act as the Senior Database Administrator directing team members to ensure all requirements are delivered in an efficient, highly productive manner
- Provide technical support for the day-to-day SQL Server activities of the organization
- Implement database changes to improve performance and security
- Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard databases
- Measure database performance and troubleshoot complex database issues
- Configure and monitor interfaces with other systems
- Configure and maintain system databases, user databases, server instances, schema, tables, views, functions, triggers, and indexes
- Configure and manage system and database user IDs and group permissions, database backups and recoveries
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot bi-directional database replication
- Work with other DBAs, Systems Administrators, and application developers to resolve various system issues
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related scientific or technical discipline
- 5+ years or more of related professional experience performing and supporting database management activities in a large, complex systems environment
- 3+ years or more of related people leadership experience, including supervising both onshore and offshore teams
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator/Engineer (MCSA, MCSE) preferred
- Experience installing, configuring, securing, and optimizing SQL Server Databases
- Supported cloud-based database technologies such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Experience with High Availability and Data Replication technologies as related to SQL Servers
- Experience writing and debugging scripts in PowerShell
- Ability to maintain documentation reflecting the current operational environment
- Possess excellent communication and written skills
- Strong proficiency in TSQL, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI and SSRS
- Strong proficiency in Windows Administration including windows server performance tuning
- Proficient in installation, configuration and tactical diagnosis of Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and other BI Solutions, including experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Raw, chart.js, etc.
- Experience with GCP, BigQuery and Looker
- Ruby, Python, Perl, PowerShell, C, JAVA, or other programming languages
- Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

(Base Salary Pay Range: $100,000 - $150,000)
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
