Infor Senior Financials Consultant
Role Objective
Infor Senior Financials Consultants work as part of a Financials and Supply Management (FSM) team or individually, providing relevant and current finance professional experience and Infor software expertise during cloud implementations, upgrades/migrations, or redesign and assessment projects.

The Infor Senior Financials consultant leads and supports our customers with business process transformation to increase efficiency and effectiveness following proven methodologies and established project strategies. Infor business application responsibilities include Global Ledger, Asset Accounting, Project Ledger including Grant Accounting, Receivables, Payables, Cash Management, Close Management and Reconciliation Management. During project delivery, the Senior Financials Consultant provides hands-on leadership, guidance, and support for process design, application build support, training, testing, go-live support and change management.  
 
Additional responsibilities include assisting with the development and updating of internal toolsets, methodologies, best practices, and mentoring of fellow consultants as assigned. The Infor Senior Financials consultant may be engaged to provide subject matter expertise for marketing initiatives or during the sales process providing input to project scope, approach, and service estimates.  
 
Supervisory Responsibilities
There are no supervisory responsibilities for this role.
 
Required Qualifications
  • Prior demonstrated lead experience with Infor Financials and Supply Management (FSM) or previous Infor Lawson versions.
  • Full or partial suite implementation and/or migration experience preferred within Infor Financials applications.
  • Strong accounting acumen and financial reporting with an understanding of principles, standards, and procedures issued by FASB.
  • Attention to detail to document system processes and configuration accurately and effectively.
  • Ability to work as part of a team with clear verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Data mining and analysis experience preferred.
  • 5 years prior consulting experience preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Infor certification preferred.
Travel Requirements
This position typically has a nationwide travel expectation of up to 35-50%.
Work Environment
A combination of home office and on-site client work environment.
 
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
