The Senior Consultant will manage and lead a strategy and engagement initiative and  provide change management support. Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement client-specific solutions, working collaboratively with stakeholders to assure excellent results and customer satisfaction
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research and data gathering to identify key themes, trends, and opportunities
  • Lead stakeholder engagement meetings and fact-finding interviews to gather data and information
  • Communicate complex concepts effectively and build understanding amongst stakeholders
  • Capture, synthesize, and summarize information from interviews, focus groups, and internal meetings, translating insights into draft deliverables and products
  • Plan and facilitate group discussions on strategy development and performance management, including governing committee
  • Develop, revise, and publish high-quality documents for a variety of audiences
  • Create initiative-specific communications i.e. briefings, talking points
  • Develop and monitor project plans and supervise several staff    

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 5+ years external consulting experience
  • Experience in planning and facilitating meetings of executives and senior managers to build consensus and agreement
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans
  • Must be detail oriented, with excellent follow-through
  • Strong project management skills
  • Knowledge of Emergency Management
  •  US citizenship and ability to acquire a Secret clearance

Preferred experience:

  • Master's degree
  • Experience consulting to government
