Description

Responsibilities:  Must understand and follow all safety requirements for operating equipment. Set up machines according to drawing specifications. Cut and modify materials according to layout. Identify defective parts. Must have knowledge of the operation on either the T-drill bender or tube spinner. Support Lean Initiatives. Clean equipment and work area. Rework parts as needed. Complete paperwork when job is finished. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:  Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Must be able to use calipers and tape measures for measurements. Must be willing to train on all equipment within the department. Perform responsibilities with minimal supervision.  Must be able to work overtime. Must be willing to cross-train. The successful bidder will have extensive knowledge of Amada Press Brake Operations including setup and use of metamation software.  HS Diploma or GED preferred. Must join a union.
The hourly range of $19.00-20.50 is just one component of Hussmann’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, location and union designation. The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
