CNC Programmer
Description
Development of plans and programs for increasing the effectiveness of CNC equipment turret presses, laser, srippet-press brake. Assure the effective preparation of determining, designing, and justification of new tooling. Responsible for intermittent tool acquisitions, logging & tracking. Collaborate with Engineering on tooling activities and coordinate any potential changes to the product and related tooling. Responsible for programming CK equipment turrets, lasers, strippets, Spam Welder-Press Brakes.
REQUIREMENTS: • Knowledge of sheet metal equipment, fabrication, assembly techniques. Knowledge of costs and functions of parts and assemblies. • 7 to 10 years of experience in related to production or fabrication of sheet metal parts for productions. • Equivalent to 4 years of high school plus 4 years of apprenticeship. • Knowledge of sheet metal techniques, and related machinery. Software knowledge of press brakes and turret programming.
