Construction Technician Assistant
Temporary Position: 6 months
Location: Broomfield, Colorado

About the Role:
The Construction Technician Assistant performs a wide range of skilled construction tasks including standard wall partitions, drywall, drywall finishing, door/window install, ceiling tile grids and all other tasks involving building a room. This person is required to follow and practice all Hunter Douglas Safety Guidelines at all time.
Key Qualifications Include:
- Solid ability to perform work under general supervision
- Solid ability to use small hand and power tools, precision measuring and testing devices, and various building trades materials
- Ability to understand and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Ability to read, understand, follow specific instructions and procedures
- Ability to understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures
- Knowledge of an extensive set of operations and procedures, specific skills and demonstrated ability, that requires considerable creativity or mechanical aptitude
Education/Trainings:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 4-6 years’ experience in construction or related fields required
- Must have knowledge of basic carpentry methods, materials, principles and technology and be familiar with the tools and equipment used to perform these functions
- Must be dedicated, motivated and able to work independently or as a team
Hourly Pay Range: $19 - $29.45 an hour
