If you apply before October 30th and you are hired you would be eligible for a Retention Bonus!  The Retention Bonus includes a $500 payment at 60 days of employment, $500 payment at 90 days of employment, and $1000 at 6 months of employment.  This is in addition to competitive pay, robust benefits, and fun events.

Recognize and follow all safety expectations and report any concerns.

Understand and follow Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.

Determine work assignment for shift from manufacturing coordinator, supervisor or available leadership.

Operate manufacturing machinery including slitters, printers, collators, inspection racks etc.

Use needed equipment to assist production activities including hand lift trucks, tools, computers etc.

Identify, communicate and take corrective action and preventative measures to ensure efficient and quality production.

Communicate with other technicians or teammates throughout the shift in order to receive and share information on activities, equipment and materials.

Document daily production information and activities.

Train other Manufacturing Technicians in operations and safety procedures and quality standards.



Communicates with previous shift fabricators and equipment operators to obtain information concerning color variations or component problems that may adversely effect the fabrication shift schedule.

Works as a member of a team during a shift, performing various job tasks and operating equipment that certification has been received on.

Reviews fabrication customer order information that specifies shade color, rail color, cord color and components to be used to complete customer order.

Gathers and organizes all necessary supplies that will be needed to complete customer orders during the shift. Orders and restocks supplies on an as needed basis.

Operates a circular saw in cutting metal rail according to customer order specifications. Reconfirms that rail color selected matches fabric color.

Sets up all table measurements for the cutting of fabrics. Arranges fabrics on table surface to obtain maximum amount of fabric usage and eliminate undue waste. Checks fabric for flaws or defects prior to cutting.

Assembles rails, fabric and components using hand tools such as, drills, hammers and needle nose pliers. Affixes label instructions and product information to the window shade.

Bags and sorts window shades per customer order. Verifies that customer order information and actual physical count number are the same. Notes discrepancies by withholding order from being packaged for shipment.

Packages window fashions and accompanying paperwork into boxes for shipment. May have to assemble shipment boxes with air staple guns. Verifies that written order information and actual physical count number are the same before sealing package.



Be a resource to any area of warehouse operations to include:

Internal & External Distribution, Shade Shipping, Raw Materials, Receiving, Internal Putaway

Assures all general warehouse processes and procedures are followed. Advises when additional procedures are needed.

Assures while pulling inventory for customer and internal orders, all processes and procedures are followed. Advises when additional procedures are needed.

Communicates status of assigned projects and tasks. Communicates issues and concerns when needed.

Insures work projects assigned, are completed in a timely manner. Serves as an information resource to members of the group in providing direction on the completion of assignments.

Maintains an atmosphere of continuous improvement of work processes and job knowledge areas through adherence to Focus on Excellence philosophies.

Supports and utilizes various coaching and mentoring techniques directed by Supervision to develop new personnel and maintain the motivation of group members.

When called upon, participates and shares in discussions with the warehouse personnel on the status of projects and short term and long-range goals of the department.

Ability to use equipment associated within area certified/ trained in Bar Code scanners, Computer programs etc., spelled out in the training matrix. Available upon request.



Physical Requirements: constant standing, repeated hand, arm, upper body movement - push, pull, reach, bend, and stoop. Some positions may require visual color acuity testing and heavy lifting.

Pay Range & other compensation:   Annual Bonus target 2.5%
