Position Overview:

 

The Associate Trade manager will own the commercialization of sales and marketing programs for the LEVOLOR brand within specific channels of distribution including the Home Center, Department Store and Ecommerce channels. The associate will leverage category data and industry trends to develop comprehensive customer and category strategies that will enable greater sell-thru and market share gains. This position will support key trade and stream processes including activation and tracking of new product launches, category management, as well POS and promotional analytics.

 Primary Responsibilities:

  • New Product Launches/Commercialization
    • Partner with product teams to manage innovation and bring both a customer and consumer centric viewpoint into the development process
    • Use understanding of customers to build optimal pricing strategy while managing channel dynamics
    • Build in store and .com requirements for a successful go to market launch (POP Management/POG Updates/Sample Blinds Recommendations)
    • Understanding of new product launch impact on P&L
  • Reporting and Data Analytics
    • Ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights
    • Conduct POS/Promotional planning and analysis to help drive the business
    • Category data analysis and performance
    • Retailer and Category share forecasting
    • Store/Regional level analytics
  • Field sales communication liaison
    • Support the development and activation of tools to enable the field team to drive overarching strategy
    • Manage and communicate top business priorities to the field team
  • Internal voice for key retailer
    • Organizational operating meetings
    • Project meetings
    • Account reviews

 

Requirements:

  • Four-year undergraduate degree; MBA preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience with a leading CPG company (Category Management, Shopper Insights, Sales, Finance or related position)
  • Advanced analytical skills and computer software proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven record of collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve results
  • Aptitude to analyze and break down complex business issues, identifying the root cause and recommending clear, actionable next steps; strong communication and presentation skills required
