MASTER SCHEDULER III

 

The Role:
Responsible for the development of monthly master schedules for all Fabric manufacturing operations and owning the monthly cross functional supply planning forum within WFD. Facilitates cross functional monthly master schedule meetings. Works closely with production leadership, Production Scheduling, and Buyer/Planners to align requirements, capacity, and material availability. Assists Product Management, Operations, and Materials organizations by tracking and preparing reports of forecasted demands, consumption levels, and inventory positions. Will be working with the cutting edge SAP S4/Hana and IBP systems. Will be a part of transformation work to create new processes, provide new levels of business visibility including the creation of new capacity planning processes for the window fashions division. About You:
You have a strong background in materials that includes multiple years of ERP/MRP experience; knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana is preferred. You have a natural affinity for details, and you contribute towards working in a dynamic team with instilling trust and confidence with your Operations customers. You are strong in Excel with a high level of analytical skills. You enjoy learning and being a master of your craft.

Acceptable Experience and Training:
Includes a four-year degree in business with an emphasis in Operations Management. Requires five or more years experience in a manufacturing environment. A substitute of seven or more years of business experience in lieu of a four-year degree. APICS (CPIM, CSCP) certification is highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities:
Translates the S&OP forecast into demand for the supply of semi-finished materials to enable long term planning of resources.

Analyzes international and trade sales in addition to internal consumption to prepare a monthly master schedule. Ensures that the master schedule aligns with fabrication plant production plans.

Coordinates with Operations to ensure proper levels of resources are planned. Anticipates issues and needs of the business responding to concerns and conflicts. Responds to all inquiries pertaining to reporting from Materials Managers, Operations Leadership, and Product Management.

Publishes financial reports for company-wide dissemination that tracks actual production against inventory levels and purchased components and materials on a month-to-month or yearly comparison basis.

Prepares and maintains computer databases for data collection utilizing SAP, MRP and Excel. Develops spreadsheets to interrelate various sources of inventory and production level information.

Will be part of transformation work to create new processes, provide new levels of business visibility. Including the creation of new capacity planning processes for the window fashions division.

Responsible for owning the monthly cross functional supply planning forum within WFD.

Serves as an information resource to all business functions on inquiries related to production and inventory planning.

 

Maintains knowledge areas by continuing education through affiliations with professional organizations and reading industry publications.

 

 What You Will Have:

Expert knowledge of the principles and fundamentals of statistics used in forecasting.

Expert knowledge ability to manage MRP-based demand requirements throughout the supply chain.

Expert knowledge of the principles of supply planning, capacity planning, production scheduling, inventory management and forecasting models in a manufacturing environment.

Expert knowledge of computer use and software such as Word, Excel, Access and SAP S/4 Hana.

Solid knowledge of inventory control management.

Skill in analyzing and interpreting trends to assist in the forecasting of inventory and demand levels.

Skill in the ability to collaborate with other locations on capacity, constraints, forecasting topics and stocking availability

Ability to consider financial impacts when defining forecasts and inventory plans

Ability to use correct grammar and punctuation to present analyzed information in report form.

Hiring Range: $61,600-$92,000 salary + discretionary bonus
