Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Summary:
This role is responsible for facilitating a culture of continuous improvement and implementing lean manufacturing principles that leads to associate empowerment, elimination of waste, and improvements in safety, quality, service and cost. The position is based out of our Salt Lake City plant, which is part of our Fabrication Division. Your day to day will consist of always trying to create and think outside of the box. Your influence in this role will be widespread and could affect all areas of the organization, not just production. You will have the ability to make an impact quickly.

Experience/ Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent (e.g. Business Administration). [MUST HAVE]
- Experience leading/facilitating multiple kaizen events/programs and/or key participant role in a large plant lean transformation initiative. [MUST HAVE]
- Experience leading within a Lean environment. Six Sigma Certification preferred. [MUST HAVE]
- Experience in manufacturing environment. [MUST HAVE]
- Computer and analytical skills required. [MUST HAVE]
- 3+ years’ experience leading and managing people, departments and organizations, with production/plant
management leadership preferred. - Preferable to have multi-site support experience.

What you will do:
- Identify opportunities for Kaizen events that provide quantifiable and sustainable results.
- Develop and communicate metrics for measurement of continuous improvement; monitor and analyze quantitative and qualitative results related to initiatives on a continual basis.
- Foster a safety culture and the implementation of safety policies and training in compliance with the company
safety program and OSHA regulations to eliminate work related injuries. - Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects through cross-functional team facilitation
- Use lean manufacturing tools (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Charters, 5S, Gemba walks, LMS, Root cause problem solving) to identify and develop solutions that drive operational improvement in Safety,& Quality,
- Act as primary liaison with steering committees. Network with other plant’s lean leaders to leverage programs
designed to continually improve operations and eliminate waste fostering best practice and standardization. - Track, monitor, and report regularly on project status; monitor product and process improvement milestones to
ensure on-time completion and sustainability.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual base salary range: $73,000 - $86,000
- Bonus target range: 10-20%
