Talent Acquisition Sourcer

About You:

You have a background in agency recruiting, an executive search firm would be ideal.  You are excited by the puzzle of TA; finding the right role for the right candidate.  Searching out that diamond in the rough or filling that difficult niche role gives you that little rush of adrenaline.  You’re passionate about candidate experience and you have an interest in recruitment marketing practices and tools.  You’re an expert at networking and have a wide range of contacts already built. If you’ve been in the Manufacturing or Consumer Goods industry that’s even better!

 

Acceptable Experience and Training:

A Bachelor’s degree and 5 to 7 years of corporate and/or search firm progressive recruiting experience with a focus on passive candidate generation, engagement and closing strategies or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years experience sourcing and recruiting for technical, executive, and professional talent for roles using a wide variety of sourcing methods. Experience utilizing CRM tools/platforms required. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

Partners with hiring teams to build effective sourcing and assessment approaches Understands KSAs and position competencies needed to be successful in a role.

 

Initiates contact with potentially qualified candidates for specific job openings. Reviews applications and interviews applicants.

 

Builds and maintains a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management.

 

Recommends ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing new recruiting processes and fine tuning standard processes that fit within Hunter Douglas's mission to hire the very best talent.

 

Articulate a sourcing plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process.

 

Increases Hunter Douglas’ presence as an employer of choice through various media. Works to continuously improve brand through various websites.

 

Develops recruitment programs and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings, as well as provides information about the organization and its opportunities.

 

Develops and maintains network of contacts such as schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to help identify and source qualified candidates.

Develops and coordinates internal job postings, writes creative job advertising and places in a wide variety of media

 

Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.

 

Facilitator for Day 1 Orientation.

 

Performs full-cycle recruiting or assists with other functions within the Talent Acquisition function when needed.

 

Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local legal regulations.

 

Makes public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities.

 

Updates requisition report and inputs resumes/applications into Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

 

KSA’S:

 

Solid knowledge of: building scalable recruiting programs and processes, evaluating technical qualifications of a candidate, Equal Employment Opportunity and other regulations governing hiring process, market and competition while understanding business implications of decisions. 

 

Basic knowledge of: all applicable Federal and State Laws, budgets to work within approved budget and develop/implement cost saving measures.

 

Ability to: proactively network and establish effective working relationships, continually seek new sourcing options, develop creative approaches to sourcing and delivering candidates, build on-going customer relationships through constant communication and ownership of work, conduct presentations before small groups of people, respond promptly to internal customer needs, react well under pressure, treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; able to maintain confidentiality,

remain open to others' ideas and tries new things, align work with strategic goals, develop strategies to achieve organizational goals and increase productivity, deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events and develop innovative approaches/ideas, commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals, display willingness to make decisions, travel for career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule

 

Skilled at communication, organization, and negotiation, analysis with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
