We are looking to fill the following position at the Owensboro location:


ASSEMBLY LEAD (Manual/Automated assemblies)


  • 2ND shift (3:00pm-11:30pm)
  • Entry Pay Rate: $17.00 ($18.19 with shift premium)
  • Shift Premium: 7% of base wage


Skill Requirement:  Must have sufficient hand/finger dexterity and eye/hand coordination for manual and semi-automated assembly of plastic and metal pieces. Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written operational procedures, assembly prints, criteria and other quality tools to safely and efficiently perform essential functions. Solid knowledge of basic mathematics to read measuring devices such as calipers and performs basic addition, subtraction of whole numbers and fractions.  Ability to motivate and train other people; to spot and eliminate quality issues and test product according to set quality criteria.


Primary Responsibilities may include:  This position assists the supervisor and technicians with coordination of the workforce, inventory control, trouble shooting and repair of machines. Sets up workstations for production and ensures materials are available at the work areas. May manually assemble injection molding and/or purchased components into semi-finished products or run production on automated and semi-automated machines. May perform limited maintenance to prevent and resolve machine malfunctions. Reviews all problems with operator on the previous and subsequent shift on all tasks assigned.


Candidates are responsible for taking an active role in plant-wide safety activities, have a solid work history, strong work ethic, and be accommodating to shift work. A high school diploma or GED is needed and the WorkKeys is also desired.
