IT Senior Business Partner, Shop Floor

(Travel Required = Couple days twice a month)

 

About the Role:

The IT Sr Business Partner, Shop Floor is responsible for the design, build, test, implementation and support of integrated processes for Manufacturing and Fabrication across all Hunter Douglas divisions, business operations and engineering. They will oversee a team of up to 5 direct reports that is responsible for partnering with all levels of the business to collect business requirements and translate the requirements into the correct solution architecture for the enterprise shop floor. This position is responsible for setting and achieving strategic roadmaps and process transformation, configuration, light development and test responsibilities on shop floor projects. The IT Sr Business Partner, Shop Floor will also have active support of process adherence with users.

 

About You:

You have experience and passion for advanced enterprise problem solving, developing and working within cross functional teams. You have strong and clear communication skills where you are able to build bridges, obtain buy in and lead team building initiatives. Not only do you have technical aspects of performance tuning on shop floor systems that include interfaces between S4/HANA, BI, PI, and ME/MII, but you also know how to lead incident tracking and resolution with commercially available software. You have strong troubleshooting skills for issues within many SAP ME/MII application platforms and have the ability to design application modifications in the form of functional and technical specifications. You also have experience working within a manufacturing application environment.

 

Key Qualifications Include:

  • Ability to lead business process development to ensure IT solutions meet the needs of the business (Required)
  • Expert knowledge in stakeholder and relationship management skills (Required)
  • Expert knowledge of functional and business process integration in manufacturing, shop floor execution, engineering, and supply chain within a consumer products, mill or variant configured industry. (Required)
  • Ability to lead full lifecycle deployment on at least one large scale application implementation (Required)
  • Solid knowledge to lead projects, strong management and customer service skills (Required)
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate strong planning, organizing and decision making skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in application support
  • Solid knowledge in process and functional documentation
  • Solid knowledge of project management process, best practices and documentation of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

Education/Trainings:

Includes Masters or Bachelor's degree in computer science (preferred) or related degree or business experience relative to manufacturing or engineering.  A minimum of 10 years of SAP relevant application deployment experience, 3 years of applied experience with SAP shop floor or operations technology.  SAP ME/MII application and management or technical leadership experience. Experience in SQL, UI5; HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, XML, XSLT.  Fundamental skills within all or a series of skills listed, Java, HTML5, JavaScript SAPUI5, Kepware, SAP PCo.

Salary Range$144,100 - $179,550    Discretionary Bonus Amount Included
