About Us
The Flexo Solutions facility has printed and formed fabrics into the signature Honeycomb shape in Appleton, WI since 2003.  Our facility is fully air-conditioned for a comfortable work environment.


We are looking to fill the following position:
Production Supervisor
Location: Appleton, WI

Oversees front-line employees to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability in production operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Hires and trains employees, organizes, directs and oversees employee schedules, provides constructive and timely performance evaluations, and administers discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Actively participates in the daily production meetings to assist in the scheduling and coordinating of employees, equipment, and customer requirements in order to meet customer needs.
  • Acts as the company’s super user for Shop Floor and provides training and direction to all employees.
  • Collects, evaluates, analyzes, and assesses production data.
  • Upholds company standards for quality and defects.
  • Identifies and corrects problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health.
  • Develops and implements procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Reviews employee timesheets to ensure payroll is processed in an accurate manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Can demonstrate the ability to manage, motivate and lead a large team operating on a 24/5 schedule.
Qualifications
  • Good written and oral communication skills at all levels including employees, customers, vendors, corporate personnel and other Hunter Douglas family, etc.
  • Ability to successfully lead and manage people while maintaining a positive, team atmosphere.
  • Well organized.
  • The ability to take on projects and see them to their completion.
Working Conditions
  • Minimal travel. Occasional customer and vendor visits. Minimal offsite seminars and meetings.
