Position at Hunter Douglas Inc.

As a member of a high performing team focusing on delivering solutions that support business goals and needs by leveraging existing SAP technology investments. Serves as a subject matter expert associated with strategy, content, processes, and procedures associated with the modules in SAP’s IBP product offerings. Writes functional requirements and specifications, develops test plans, and works with and resolves production issues. Interacts directly with business and stakeholders to build strong relationships and develop deep knowledge of business processes, needs and pain points.  Applies functional knowledge to the design and customization of the system to provide integrated solutions across the Hunter Douglas enterprise.

 

 

   Use SAP S/4 HANA and IBP/advanced planning system functional knowledge, combined with strong knowledge of best practices and business processes to drive to the best solution across people, processes and technology.

   Contribute to the development of the overall planning system design and strategy.

   Collaborate with IT and business teams to review and understand business requirements, assess and recommend options and implement solutions.

   Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs, specifications and solutions.

   Develop and maintain a deep understanding business process, procedures, solutions and systems.

   Successfully deliver IT solutions to cost and schedule to meet strategic business requirements.

   Support business users in development and delivery of end user and ongoing training and education programs.

   Support the development and execution of the HD Enterprise architecture to ensure that investments in technology are aligned and support realization of the overall IT strategy.

   Provide functional and technical support for existing and future implementations of SAP IBP and relevant integrations to business users and peers.

   Maintain and develop knowledge of current and emerging technologies. Identify new and emerging solutions, assesses their relevance and potential value to the organization, and contributes to briefings of staff and business management.


Qualifications: 

·           Strong functional background in manufacturing industries and supply chain management.

·           Expert functional knowledge and hands-on technical experience with SAP IBP in at least one of the following modules: S&OP, Response and Supply, Demand Planning, or Inventory Optimization.  Extensive functional experience with SAP APO Supply Network Planning and/or Demand Management may serve as a substitute.

·           Strong business acumen

·           Strong knowledge of information technology solutions, technology trends and IT marketplace

·           Strong knowledge of IT design, testing, and documentation methodologies (Agile, ITIL, etc.)

·           Knowledge of project management tools, techniques and processes

·           Strong organization skills and the ability to effectively handle multiple, complex projects simultaneously

·           Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with business partners, planners, IT solution architects, and supply chain leadership.

·           Strong listening, interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation and conflict management skills and ability to work collaboratively

·           Strong business process analysis and systems implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change

·           Strong cross-functional knowledge of integration points between enterprise planning and production scheduling, sales, warehouse management and distribution.

 

 

Acceptable Training and Experience includes University degree or equivalent. Typically 5+ years of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments, platforms, and business segments. More than 5 years of experience in IT managing the functionality of an advanced planning system (SAP APO, IBP, etc). Substantial cross-functional experience with IT and business teams. High technical acumen on SDLC processes and governance of SAP solutions. Person will need to have some background in working on large project implementations on SAP.

Hiring Range: $107,000 - $120,000 with 30% bonus
