Intern Program Overview
Hunter Douglas Window Fashions Division Summer Internship program offers interns more than just a job. Interns are invited to participate in short training courses designed specifically to help prepare them for interviewing and job-seeking as well as skills to enhance their professional presentation. Interns will also have the opportunity to work on projects with other interns cross-functionally, participate in a volunteer event for the community, network with professionals throughout the organization, and enjoy team-building activities. The Internship program aims to provide students with an experience that will benefit their professional and educational growth.
Job Summary: The Sampling department at Hunter Douglas supports all product lines and provides marketing material and product samples to all of our vendors. This role will work closely with the sampling project and logistics managers to deliver on various business objectives. This is a small and fun team that interacts with many different departments and functions within the larger Hunter Douglas Corporation.

Basic Essential duties or projects:
- Creating/Writing/editing work instructions for the supply chain processes within the Sampling Department.
- Creating a centralized web portal housing all of our templates, agendas, work forms processes, and schedules. Research platforms and options for housing the portal.
- Shadowing and supporting the project and logistic managers to support ongoing sampling programs.
- Possible local travel for vendor interfacing.

Experience Required: Currently enrolled in college degree program in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Merchandising or recently graduated within the last year.
