Director of Business Intelligence - Humble Bundle

Humble Bundle sells games, ebooks, software, and other digital content. Our mission is to support charity while providing awesome content to customers at great prices. We launched in 2010 with a single two-week Humble Indie Bundle, but we have humbly grown into a store full of games and bundles, a subscription service, a game publisher, and more. We have raised $147 million for charity and counting. And we now have over 400,000 subscribers to our Humble Monthly.

Humble Bundle is hiring a Director of Business Intelligence to define and execute a vision for analytics while leading a team of amazing analysts. The team will fundamentally change how Humble Bundle plans and executes everything we do. They will build a new structure for understanding the behavior of our customers, and measure how they respond to new experiences. 

This will help us continue to offer great games to customers while supporting charity. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute on a vision for Analytics at Humble.

  • Manage a team of amazing analysts who work cross functionally with departments. 

  • Empower Business Verticals and leadership teams with better data and tools.

  • Own the implementation, organization and adoption of our BI tools.

  • Ensure data is always accurate, performant and high-quality.

Who you are

  • You have 8+ years of hands-on data analytics experience working ideally in a consumer marketplace including statistics and probability, quantitative sciences, and more.

  • You have 5+ years of leadership experience in analytics and have managed a team of high performing analysts.

  • You’ve implemented BI tools with complex underlying data that allow stakeholders and senior leadership to understand business performance. 

  • You have a track record of leading strategic initiatives, executive presentations, and highly developed organizational skills to ensure unstructured business needs are converted and prioritized to the right data analysis projects.

  • You have a proven track record of delivering decision support models and quantitative analysis delivering actionable insights to business.

  • You are technically strong and hands-on to inspire and lead analysts.

  • You have exceptional communication and presentation skills capable of communicating complex information in easily digestible reports, dashboards, and presentations.

  • You have strong technical skills in Python, SQL, R, RegEx, and more

  • Experience in the gaming industry is a plus.
