About Humble Bundle:

Humble Bundle sells games, ebooks, software, and other digital content. Our mission is to support charity while providing awesome content to customers at great prices. We launched in 2010 with a single two-week Humble Indie Bundle, but we have humbly grown into a store full of games and bundles, a subscription service, a game publisher, and more. We have raised $200 million for charity and counting.

Position Intro:

We're looking for a videogame-loving self starter with a background in Sales and/or Business Development. You are someone who is excited to work alongside a team of like-minded individual contributors to collectively hit business-revenue targets by creating high-quality games promotions.

You will follow best practices to identify, initiate, and close deals with top game developers and publishers; help sell millions of indie/AAA titles to our growing community of 10 million customers and fans; and continue Humble Bundle's mission to raise money for thousands of worthwhile causes.

  • Lead curation for regular promotions, from initial idea to launch on the site
  • Build strong, friendly, and long-term focused relationships with our developer and publisher partners, by scheduling regular calls and in-person meetings, attending conventions, and more
  • Collaborate with teammates to enable Humble to continue being a force for good in the video game industry
  • Develop and maintain a deep and up-to-date understanding of the PC gaming space and the most successful games
  • Find new insights and tactics to build the most appealing promotions and products for publishers, developers and customers; and work with teams across the company to implement these ideas

Required Experience:

  • Appreciation of indie/AAA games from a commercial perspective; the ideal candidate cares about game deals, bundles, and seasonal sales across all PC platforms
  • 1-5 years of BD, account management, and digital distribution experience in the videogame industry; a rich partner network, a plus
  • Experience with revenue reporting, forecasting, hitting revenue targets
  • Strong EQ, with thoughtful, present-minded approach to teamwork
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • A completionist approach to project management, with the ability to focus on and regularly close multiple deals
  • Outgoing personality, happy to attend events to represent Humble Bundle, and talk to strangers
  • Deep love for games of all kinds is key!

Travel Requirements:

As needed, but up to 10-20%.  This job includes possible meetings at partner sites and conferences via air travel. This role could entail long work days during events of up to 12 - 14 hours per day.
