The Technology Coordinator position will set the technological stage for our educators, students, and administrative staff. This includes performing maintenance checks, set-ups, and repairs of classroom and auditorium AV and printing systems in the morning then settling in at our Tech Desk. There you will respond to students, staff, and faculty walk-up technology queries. During this time you will also be answering tickets on FreshService CRM regarding Tier 0 –Tier 2 issues with Microsoft Office Products, SalesForce, and other web-app-based administrative systems.  Additionally, you will assist with hardware repairs on Dell, Lenovo, and Apple laptops. These interactions will be administered in-person and on Teams and Zoom.
Training will be provided for the local technology ecosystem, but base understanding of system administration and hardware troubleshooting processes are necessary. The ideal person is good at problem-solving and can remain calm under pressure --putting others at ease while you isolate and fix their problems. We heavily weigh in favor of individuals who can adapt and learn new systems and processes.
Responsibilities & Duties:
The primary responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
  • Classroom technology support, including the successful launch of events and class sessions
  • Assisting faculty with troubleshooting AV issues
  • Routine maintenance of Printers and Print Workstations
  • Assisting staff with setup and support of campus events
  • Working with FreshService CRM to provide technical assistance to fellow students, staff, and faculty
  • Instructing your peers on Hult academic applications (MyCourses, Office365) and 3rdparty academic software
  • Collaborate with the Campus Technology Manager on improvement projects
Work Experience, Skills and Competencies:
Essential
  • Knowledge of Windows, Mac OSX platforms
  • Ability to install software & problem solve on said platforms
  • Basic knowledge of Dell, Lenovo and Apple hardware (ie: upgrading RAM, replacing hard drives etc.)
  • Exceptional customer service skills, both over email and in person
  • Business application support, including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Company Portal, etc.
  • Printer setup, installation, and management
  • Proficiency in handling virus and malware removal
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as Microsoft O365 and SharePoint.
  • Experience troubleshooting mobile devices
Preferred
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, User Management, & Group Policy
  • Knowledge of Microsoft O365 Admin
