Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching fellow with a passion for innovative teaching in applied and adult learning, particularly in degree apprenticeship programmes. This role involves teaching Level 7 Degree Apprenticeships at a module level in areas such as finance, marketing, strategy, operations, project management, leadership, innovation and change. Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality teaching to apprenticeship students
- Leading and contributing to degree apprenticeship programmes
- Engaging in innovative teaching practices that enhance applied and adult learning
- Teaching students from a variety of different backgrounds and having the ability to work across industry sectors
- Provide support to other parts of the apprenticeship delivery team where appropriate to aid the progression and delivery of our programs.
Person Description
- Teaching Excellence: Proven track record of excellent teaching at both undergraduate and master's levels, in both pre and post-experience programmes and using blended learning
- Academic Course Management: Experience of managing modules on a program and the lifecycle from design to assessment to marking.
- Academic Course Development: An ability to work with the academic team to develop new courses, modules and assessments.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptionally well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to show initiative, and take responsibility in professional activities
- Teamwork: Ability to work autonomously while demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork.
