This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and wages start at $20.00/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Delivers products to local customers accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follows Company and Department of Transportation safety regulations, procedures, and policies.
- Keeps facilities and trucks in order, clean, safe, and good condition.
- Keeps logs of activities and make sure vehicles are maintained in good working order.
- Supports team members, Warehouse Manager, or any other party of the company or customer when required to ensure warehouse processes are followed efficiently and effectively.
- Participates in the inventory auditing processes.
- Performs any other additional functions or tasks as required by management.
Functions:
- Demonstrate commitment, dependability, and respect for other employees with regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule of availability.
- Make sure delivery trucks are loaded with correct parts and organized, including trailers that come after hours, ensuring that all items and supplies are properly secured and making sure weight is within regulatory limits before each delivery.
- Complete local deliveries as required by driving truck to and from customers and vendors, including emergency deliveries or pick-ups after hours.
- Deliver the complete orders according to the customer needs and time frames daily based on the most cost-efficient route.
- Make sure all the documentation that is required for pick-ups, deliveries and post-deliveries is filed, formalized, or sent to the appropriate person daily.
- Inspect and maintain vehicles, adding fluids and oil as needed. Check tires, brakes, lights, and gas before leaving the premises.
- Respond any inquiries from customers regarding deliveries and pick-ups, or direct the customer to the appropriate person, and report any complaints or discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager daily.
- Fill out log sheets, give invoices to customers, get signature from customers acknowledging receipt, and provide customers and appropriate company personnel with the signed copies, when a delivery is made.
- Take payments from Cash-On-Delivery customers when needed.
Additional Functions:
- Prepare orders by pulling from stock and packing for shipment, delivery, or walk-in customers daily.
- Sweep, dust, and mop. Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
- Unload containers and trucks, unpack and examine incoming shipments, and properly organize skidded parts for shelf or bulk stock on a needed basis.
- Receive trucks as they arrive, make sure the number and correct parts were delivered, and complete required documentation.
- Sort and place items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code on a required basis.
- Perform the physical inventory cycle counts every month or when required.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Highschool Diploma / GED
- 3-5 years of Delivery Driver / Warehouse experience
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40lbs individually and more then 40lbs with assistance
- Ability to operate a forklift in compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) requirements
- Ability to obtain TWIC Card
- Keen attention to detail

Licenses/Certifications:
- Driver's license and clean driving record - Required
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card - Required
- Class C License - Preferred
- Forklift Certification - Preferred
