The Business Analyst is a key part of the Business Transformation team at Hinton Transportation Investments, Inc (HTI).  They are proficient in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements as they relate to people, process, and technology.  A thorough understanding of warehouse and distribution processes, transportation, billing, and invoicing is highly desired.  Knowledge in change management methodology, excellent communication skills, and an empathetic approach to process improvement are key drivers of success in this position.

 Responsibilities:

• Understand HTI business processes and Infor M3 capabilities
  
• Evaluate business processes within and across functions documenting roadmap opportunities
• Manage transformational project ideas and proposals for Steering Team
• Lead business process change leveraging structured methodologies (OCM, PM)
  • Document and present discovery findings in an easy-to-understand framework
  • Ensure solutions meet business requirements
  • Assist in the development of financial justification
  • Effectively communicate plans and updates to cross-functional team members and leadership
  • Execute change and readiness activities to ensure smooth transition to future state
  • Lead acceptance testing, document findings, and communicating next steps
  • Lead the development and delivery of training (…using train the trainer)
  • Coordinate project deployment
• Improve HTI knowledge management capabilities by organizing project documentation
• Assist in the continuous improvement of BT processes and documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and/or 5 years of experience in Business Analysis with warehousing, distribution, transportation and logistics, or any combination of these.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• A history of leading and supporting the execution of successful projects. ERP implementation(s), Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems, or business transformation projects are a plus.
• Experience documenting processes and requirements.
• Advanced analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• An empathetic approach to people, process, and technology improvements.
