Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join our Inventory Control team. In this role, you will operate a stand-up reach truck to stock shelves, manage inventory, and support our Shipping and Receiving departments. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with warehouse equipment, and a commitment to ensuring inventory is accurately stored and easily accessible.
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Material Handler to join our Inventory Control team. In this role, you will operate a stand-up reach truck to stock shelves, manage inventory, and support our Shipping and Receiving departments. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with warehouse equipment, and a commitment to ensuring inventory is accurately stored and easily accessible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate warehousing equipment, including but not limited to a stand-up reach truck, electric pallet jack, and hi-lo to stock shelves and organize inventory in the warehouse.
- Ensure parts are placed in their designated locations in an organized and safe manner, optimizing space and accessibility.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring products are properly tracked and counted.
- Communicate with the Inventory Control Team to ensure timely replenishment of shelves.
- Collaborate with the Shipping and Receiving Teams to move incoming and outgoing products, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures when operating warehouse equipment and handling materials.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks and projects as required, including inventory counts, cycle counts, cleaning, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment preferred.
- Forklift operation experience required.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and team collaboration skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of walking and standing on a stand-up Forklift.
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs individually and up to 100lbs during team lifts
- Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including temperature variations.
