Senior Infrastructure Manager
The Senior Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for hands-on management of all IT infrastructure, security, ISP’s, networking, servers, telecommunications, and IT Service Desk. Working with Business Process Technology and Application Development, this role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance infrastructure capabilities and integration of new technology.
 
Responsibilities
  • Ensure and manage the security, stability, and scalability of IT infrastructure across the organization to include, but not limited to:
    • Network setup, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting
    • Server setup, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting
    • End user hardware standards, configuration, and troubleshooting
    • Cloud setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
    • Telecommunications standards, configuration, and troubleshooting
    • Infrastructure and user credentialing
    • Connected services to include file sharing and integrated systems
    • Hardware – desktops, thin clients, laptops, printers, scanners, etc.
    • Redundancy (Servers, Databases, Networks)
    • Disaster recovery plans and procedures
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Negotiate terms with vendors, service providers, and ensure compliance with terms.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship for all aspects of service desk, remote desktop services, and onsite support.
  • Create and maintain infrastructure and operational procedures, policies, and other documentation, as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other functional areas within Business Process Technology to streamline processes, communication, and leverage synergies between groups.
  • Design and champion system projects that leverage the Infor M3 platform, Microsoft 365 Office Suite, Azure Postgres, and other platforms as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or extensive experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Infrastructure Management, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of technical IT related experience.
  • Experience leading IT personnel and external service providers preferred.
  • Infor M3 ERP experience a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills required.
  • Forward thinking and genuine interest in leveraging Technology to support future growth.
  • Fundamental understanding of cloud architecture principles, networking concepts, server management, and security best practices, as well as physical infrastructure management.
  • Availability for off-hour calls and system work.
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15lbs at a time.
